Baptism

This past weekend we got you baptized (01.15.2012)! With that came lots of family! Grandpa & Grandma Anderson and Uncle Troy, Aunt Kim and cousin Thorsten all came up from Arizona to join the festivities!  And this was also the first time that you got to meet Troy, Kim and Thorsten! We also had Pappa and Munga Reinhardt along with Uncle Jeremy, Aunt Brooke and cousins Bohdan and Meridian!  You were absolutely perfect throughout the baptism- you didn’t even make a peep! Afterwards we had a celebration at the house where many joined! We had Ian, Leah, Kieran, Freja, Megan, Stan, Jan, Crystal, Kelly, Klaysen, Katie, Scarlett, Lauren, Holten, Ellen, Megan McWalter, Amanda, and Carter…if I have forgotten anyone, please forgive me! 

This past week, you also caught your first cold. On Tuesday, daycare called because they were concerned because you were so fussy and they could not seem to get you to settle down. So, I came home early from work and we snuggled and took a nap!  I did take you to the doctor because you were so fussy, running a bit of a temperature, and you have had a couple episodes of some blood in your poo…so we are keeping tabs on it and praying that it doesn’t happen again!  At the doctor’s office you weighed in at 12.5 pounds.

3 Months

Today you turned 3 months old!  I continue to be amazed at how the time flies!  It feels like just yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital wondering what we got ourselves into! I have quit counting the weeks…we are now onto months! You started daycare and with that you have found your voice!  Until then, you were my quiet little baby that only fussed when you needed something. It is so much fun to listen to you “talk.”  And let me tell you…you have a lot to say!  Daycare seems to be going well…the girls always comment on how happy you are…I hope and pray this continues throughout your life!  There is so much to be happy and thankful for! You have figured out rolling over (stomach to back), but you have not “mastered” the developmental milestone yet. You are grabbing onto everything and putting it straight into your mouth…this is where mom get nervous with all the germs!  Ewwwww… I feel that you recognize your name because if anyone calls it, you look in their direction. You have not changed with your sleeping (knock on wood!) You continue to wake up only one time during the night, and then I get you up at around 7 am to get the day going. THANK YOU!!!! You and your mommy love your sleep! Dad traveled for the first time for work, leaving you and me to fend for ourselves for 3 nights!  I have to admit…I was scared to death! We fared pretty well…with the help of Calli (she walked the dogs in the evening for us!) And while dad was gone, you even slept through the night (9pm-7am)!  I tried to wake you up at 4am for a feeding, but you were just too tired. I can’t say the same for me…I worried too much about you and kept waking up every 2 hours to check on you!

We have a BIG weekend ahead of us!  You are getting Baptized! We are so excited and can’t wait to teach you about God! We have a crew coming in for this special event: Grandma and Grandpa Anderson along with Uncle Troy, Aunt Kim and cousin Thorsten are all flying in from AZ! And we also have Munga, Pappa, Aunt Brooke, Uncle Jeremy, and cousins Bohdan and Meridian coming!  Not to mention all of the friends we have here in Bozeman to celebrate with!

3 months old

I have a voice!

You did it!!

We tried some tummy time tonight…and you rolled over all by yourself…no cheating this time!  This is the second time you rolled over tonight…We were not quick enough with the camera! 

Back to Work

Today was the day that I had to go back to work! Leaving you this morning at daycare was one of the hardest things I have had to do!  I almost left dad up to this task…but decided I should go and see how things worked. On the drive to the daycare I was crying and I almost bailed at the last minute…but decided not too!  They were excited to have you and thought that you were cute and one of the gals even said that you looked just like your daddy! You had a great day at daycare and you took 2 of the longest naps you have ever taken! They even sent me a picture of you…and I cried more! But needless to say, I survived! I knew you would do great!Now I hope that you sleep well tonight!

Rolling over…

So we may have cheated just a little bit…maybe not…but either way you rolled over on New Year’s Eve!
