Hadley, let me tell you, you get funnier and funnier every day! This past month has been busy with a lot of new adventures! We continued to hike when we could. For the most part you enjoy being in the backpack, but you would much rather be out of it and moving/walking on your own!
We headed to Fairmont for a weekend, right after your birthday. We had a great weekend…well minus you being up for 2-3 hours one of the nights! We took you down the waterslide 3-4 times and you seemed to enjoy it! And of course you loved being in the water.
We dressed you up as a monkey for Halloween. You had a little party at daycare, but neither myself or you dad could make it for the party. We did not take you trick-or-treating, I figured that you will have plenty of years of this and this year we would enjoy a nice quiet evening at home. Though this would have been the year to take you out…it was 60 degrees on Halloween!
We had our first big snow storm, “Brutus,” arrived and dumped a foot of snow on us! The night we got the storm (your daddy was in San Jose) you were up for 2 hours with me! You sporadically have these 2 hour stints every month or so that are beginning to drive your mommy crazy! But otherwise, I cannot complain about your sleep patterns!
We are transitioning you from the nipple on the bottles to “big girl” cups! You were a pain about it…but today you have been a CHAMP!!! Here’s to hoping you continue down this path!
Today was a great Saturday! We had a great breakfast at home, headed in to Aunt Megan, Uncle David, Isemaella, and Great Uncle Stan’s. It was great to have a quick morning play-date, so we could pick up the Gator. We got home and you were the co-pilot to the first drive in it, pushing snow down the drive-way! We then played outside. Dad pulled you and I around on a sled. We then fired up the snowmobiles and took a family spin around the yard! We followed it up with a dip in the hot-tub! It was a great little Saturday!
You make me us smile everyday! I think the thing that I am really enjoying the most right now is your dancing! You stand up, stick your belly out, stick out your lower lip so it is really fat, tuck your head down and start swinging back and forth! I LOVE IT!!!!!
You love being outside, which is awesome! You even throw a fit when it is time to come inside. You are definitely a “momma’s girl” right now. I cannot walk away for 2 seconds without you screaming at me and walking towards me with your arms high in the air.
